Tahini Swirl Brownies
Fudgy, intensely chocolatey brownies with a ribbon of nutty tahini swirled through. These are the brownies that start arguments about who gets the corner piece.
Ingredients
- 200 g dark chocolate (70% cocoa, chopped)
- 150 g butter
- 200 g sugar
- 3 eggs
- 80 g all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- 4 tbsp tahini (well-stirred)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 0.5 tsp salt
- flaky sea salt (for topping)

The tahini adds this nutty, slightly bitter undertone that makes the chocolate taste even more chocolatey. It is the same reason coffee works in chocolate recipes — contrast amplifies flavor. Plus, the swirl looks gorgeous and makes every brownie unique.
These are fudgy, not cakey. If you want cakey brownies, this is not the recipe for you and also we probably cannot be friends.
