Oven Baked Ribs
Fall-off-the-bone tender pork ribs baked low and slow in the oven with a homemade dry rub and tangy barbecue glaze. No smoker needed to achieve melt-in-your-mouth perfection at home.
Ingredients
- 2 racks pork baby back ribs (about 4 lbs total)
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
- 3 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 tbsp smoked paprika
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp onion powder
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- 2 tbsp yellow mustard (as binder)
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper

I used to think you needed a smoker, a backyard, and a PhD in fire management to make truly great ribs. Turns out all you need is an oven, some aluminum foil, and a willingness to wait. These ribs come out so tender that the meat literally slides off the bone, and the sticky, caramelized barbecue glaze on top is the kind of thing that makes people close their eyes while they eat.
