Broccoli Cheddar Soup
A thick, velvety soup loaded with tender broccoli and sharp cheddar cheese. This cozy bowl of comfort is even better than the famous restaurant version.
Ingredients
- 4 tablespoons Unsalted butter
- 1 medium Onion (diced)
- 2 cloves Garlic (minced)
- 1/4 cup All-purpose flour
- 3 cups Chicken broth
- 2 cups Whole milk
- 4 cups Broccoli florets (chopped small)
- 1 medium Carrot (diced)
- 2.5 cups Sharp cheddar cheese (shredded)
- 1/2 teaspoon Mustard powder
- 1 pinch Cayenne pepper
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper
